Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. Growing up, she listened to many traditional music as well as old boleros. Also, she listened to the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana loves tangos as well drama and opera. Ana began to learn how to play the piano and sing from an early age, along alongside her mother. She was given more formal singing instruction when she was 16 years old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. As a student and when she was a professional young within Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups and choruses. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She is currently performing the traditional Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. as a music teacher and musician Ana is a dedicated participant in numerous community projects due to her enthusiasm and passion for music. Ana has been a member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Chorale for their permission to play traditional Latin American song.
