Luke Grimes is an American musician and actor who has performed in numerous popular movies and television series like American Sniper Fifty Shades of Grey and Yellowstone. He is well-known for his charismatic and diverse acting performances, as well as his love for music. Luke Timothy Grimes, an American actor. Luke Grimes is best known for his performances in the critically acclaimed documentary American Sniper the Fifty Shades film series as well as the dramatic TV series Yellowstone (2018-present). Grimes is the son of Pentecostal Pastor in Dayton, Ohio. Grimes was a 2002 graduate of Dayton Christian High School. Luke Timothy Grimes was born Jan. 21st, 1984 at Dayton Ohio U.S. Randy Grimes is a Pentecostal Pastor, as is Angie Barker. Luke Grimes is the son of Randy Grimes, who is a Pentecostal pastor and Angie Barker. There are three sisters: Racheal Abby Grimes and Seth Grimes. He was raised in a family that is religiously conservative. He attended Dayton Christian High School. After graduating high school in 2002 Luke moved into New York City to pursue his dream of being an actor. He was enrolled in the American Academy of Dramatic Arts where he learned to act during two full years. To develop his musical talents as well, he took up guitar and singing.
